Community Living at The Esquire
The Esquire is a place where you know your neighbors. At the heart of the Esquire is a beautiful event center complete with a bar and kitchenette area and plenty of seating. We host annual social gatherings in the event center where residents can invite their friends and family and get to know their neighbors. Esquire residents can also ask to reserve the event center if they have an event they would like to host.
Good Neighbor Agreement & Community Guidelines
We want our tenants to have a sense of community at home. We encourage residents to say hello to each other, especially when first moving in. The community bulletin board next to the elevator is also a great way for tenants to share information with one another.
The Esquire is a place for mutual understanding and respect. Upon moving in, we ask tenants to follow a Good Neighbor Agreement, which includes the following communal agreements:
- I promise to be respectful to my neighbors and help create a safe space for people of all identities.
- I will make sure the front door latches behind me and will politely ask strangers to wait outside the building until their friend lets them in.
- I will respect my living space and common areas by keeping them clean. I will not leave my unwanted belongings in common spaces where they can create a safety hazard.
- I will always smoke outside so that my neighbors can have fresh air.
- If I have a pet, I will keep them on a leash in common areas and will ensure that they do not disturb my neighbors.
- I will pick up after my dog outside so that my neighbors do not step in a mess. I will dispose of my trash, including cigarette butts, in a trash can.
- I will do my part to make the Esquire a welcoming and inclusive place to live.
